Before pickup, remove your belongings, your license plate and any toll transponder (SunPass or E-PASS), and have the title and your photo ID ready. After the sale, file a Notice of Sale (form HSMV 82050) with the FLHSMV or your county tax collector within 30 days, transfer or surrender your plate, and only then cancel the insurance.
